US President-elect Donald Trump has appointed retired general Keith Kellogg as his special representative for Ukraine and Russia. About this UNN reports with reference to Sky News, transmits UNN.

In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump wrote: “Keith has a distinguished military and business career, including serving in critical national security positions in my first administration.”

He added that the couple “will make America and the world safe again.”

In July, Kellogg presented the president-elect with a plan to end the war in Ukraine.

Earlier, advisers to the ex-president of the USA, Keith Kellogg and Fred Fleitz, proposed to deprive Ukraine of American support and arms supplies until Kyiv agrees to peace talks with Russia. Ukraine can try to return the lost territories, but it will have to be done diplomatically, the WSJ noted.

Kellogg served as White House National Security Council chief of staff during Trump’s 2017-2021 term as president and as national security adviser to then-Vice President Mike Pence.
