As you know, a minute of silence is held every day at 9:00 a.m. in the Zaporizhia region, as well as throughout Ukraine. The local authorities decided to support the initiative and implement additional measures during the moment of silence.
In accordance with the decision of the Defense Council of the Zaporizhia Region dated September 24, 2024 No. 191, additional measures will be held during the minute of silence in the populated areas of the Zaporizhia Region. In particular, to honor the memory of the dead, vehicles and pedestrians will stop on all highways in the controlled part of the region
The agency emphasizes that in this way Ukrainians can demonstrate our respect for those who died in battle.
