Dear Ukrainians, Ukrainian women!
Briefly about this day.
First. Today there were many nerves and questions about some special danger. Although we have already experienced how many cruel and vile blows from Russia during this time… We must always pay attention to the air alarm. We have such a crazy neighbor. Today, on the 1001st day of full-scale war, Russia is just as crazy as it was on the 1000th day, and on February 24th. The information injection that took place today, some panic messages that were sent – all this only helps Russia. Please take care of yourself, help our army, and make sure, in particular, that no one can use your emotions for their own interests. And we continue to strengthen air defense.
Second. There is a new support package from America. The amount is 275 million dollars. The package includes drones, shells for “highmars” and artillery, and very importantly – mines to stop Russian assaults. It will really strengthen our guys at the front. And this is already the 70th defense package from the United States of America. Ukraine appreciates America’s bipartisan support and President Biden’s decision. Thank you!
The third. I spoke today with the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk. Thanked for all the support provided since the first days of the invasion. We discussed the preparation of a new package from Poland for Ukraine. And also – the presidency of Poland in the European Union, which will begin in the new year. Together we can do significant things for our peoples and for the whole of Europe.
And one more thing. Had a meeting with the director of the World Bank on issues of operational activity. They talked about our financial stability, about our support programs and about funds from frozen Russian assets. It is absolutely fair that Russian funds should work to protect against Russian aggression. The perpetrator of the war must pay for it. Pay and answer.
