The Cabinet of Ministers simplified the change of place of service for soldiers / photo 148 OABr DSHVThe Cabinet made it easier for soldiers, noncommissioned officers and noncommissioned officers to change their place of service, eliminating the potential for abuse by military units. As the press service of the Ministry of Defense reported, from now on, when changing the place of service, the position of a military person will not be indicated in the transfer order. Only his name, rank, part number and taxpayer card number will be indicated.The ministry emphasized that the designation of the position itself allowed military units to create obstacles to the transfer in some cases. For example, a serviceman was transferred to another position within the unit.
It is noted that this made it possible to refuse to change the place of service, since the positions in the order and the staff list did not match. The resolution adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers will change this. Also, the decision ensures a more accurate distribution of powers in the process of preparation and signing of transfer documents.
“We are gradually improving the process of changing the place of service. First, we launched this service in Army+, which removed several bureaucratic obstacles. Then we continue to improve it and take into account all the details that can be manipulated and not in favor of the defender. We want the service for our military to be effective and was not held back by artificial restrictions,” said Deputy Defense Minister for Digitalization Kateryna Chernogorenko.

It was noted that the bureau’s specialists will examine the materials collected during official inspections of the brigade by the Main Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Reports in the media and social networks regarding abuse of soldiers will also be studied.
