To another person involved in the corruption case in the Minregion used a preventive measure

The investigative judge of the WACS applied to the developer of Sergei Kopistyra, whom the investigation considers the organizer of the criminal scheme, a preventive measure in the form of detention with an alternative to making a bail of 100 million UAH.

About it reports Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.

In case of pledge on the suspect, appropriate procedural obligations will be entrusted, in particular:

– not to leave the city of Kyiv and Kyiv region without the permission of a detective, prosecutor or court;

– refrain from communicating with other suspects in the case and witnesses;

– deposit all their passports for traveling abroad, other documents that give the right to leave Ukraine and enter Ukraine;

– wear an electronic bracelet.

Recall:

The SAP and NABU stated that they had exposed a corruption equipment in the construction sphere with the participation of top officials of the state, which could lead to the infliction of more than 1 billion UAH of losses.

On June 12 and 13, NABU detectives in agreement with the SAP prosecutor reported suspicion of attempted abuse of office, receiving and providing an undue benefit in a particularly large amount of 5 persons:

former State Secretary of the Minregion (Volodin);

Former minister advisor (Gorbatiuk);

former director of the state enterprise (Sushon);

The developer and his proxy (organizers of the scheme Sergey Kopistyr and Oleg Tatarenko).

June 17th The court chose a measure of restraint for the former member of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine Vasyl Volodin, which was released the day before. It was taken into custody for 60 days, by August 17, with an alternative to bail of UAH 20 million.
