Karol responded to criticism / photo instagram/tina_karolSinger Tina Karol said that the negativity she faced due to the recording of a song about the lack of light and heat was the result of a targeted campaign against her.
In an interview with Ukrainian Pravda, she stated that she made a short video singing a song about “goodness” after the lights were turned off in the studio, which led to the destruction of the file with her track. According to the performer, the clip was recorded in the Kharkiv metro switchboard:
“We know very well how this attack happened on social networks and who initiated it. I will definitely tell you later because we are investigating it now… You can’t have 400 comments per hour under a video.”
Karol says that the scandal around her started to be written about even in Russia, so she considers it an attempt to start internal conflicts inside Ukraine. The artist is sure that this is part of the hybrid war.
“Today, basic, everyday things are being taken away from us: warmth, light, a sense of security. People are at the peak of emotional tension, and at this moment they are trying to push each other against each other. Among the comments, the order line was very clearly traced: that this is supposedly a “song from the authorities”, that it is a “song for a fool”, they say, “the authorities did nothing, but they gave you a song” to distract attention. And this is also an element of the same hybrid attack”, – she declared.
She called the apology that Karol wrote for Ukrainians an attempt to unite “thinking Ukraine”. According to her, after that she received a lot of support:
“I was ready to do it with ease, just to stop this rush. It was important for me. It’s like they wrote: “in Sloviansk, don’t smile at the ceiling”. But I think it’s the opposite. The military is waiting for you to come and bring life. It’s important that there is life in this meeting, that it be a whirlwind of cool emotions, something alive.”
We will remind you that Tina Karol had to apologize for performing Danylo Horodetskyi’s song “We have no light”. The singer was criticized on the network for performing the track at a time when Ukrainians are suffering from shelling during the frost.
