Three Ukrainian women are one step away from the foundation of the Aus Open. With whom they will play in the final selection

On January 14, the matches of the second round of qualification took place Australian Open 2026.

They made it to the final selection three Ukrainian tennis players: Yuliya Starodubtseva (WTA 110), Darya Snigur (WTA 136) and Angelina Kalinina (WTA 178). Vitaly Sachko (ATP 166) left the major.

Starodubtseva defeated Despina Papamikhail (Greece, WTA 160), Snigur coped with Carson Branstein (Canada, WTA 179), Kalinina defeated Anouk Koovermans (Netherlands, WTA 192), and Sachko lost to Liam Draxle (Canada, ATP 145).

In the qualification final, Starodubtseva will meet with Victoria Tomova (Bulgaria, WTA 128), Snigur will fight with Aleksandra Sasnovych (WTA 102), Kalinin will take the court against Maya Khvalinska (Poland, WTA 145).

The final qualifying round of the Australian Open will take place on January 15.
