“The chief reporter of the German newspaper Welt, Ibrahim Naber, was reporting near the front line, accompanying the Ukrainian air defense unit of the 42nd brigade. While the film crew was working in an open field, a Russian Lancet-type drone attacked a nearby military vehicle. As a result, one soldier was killed, another was seriously injured, and three people in Naber’s reporting team were injured,” the message reads.
According to the report, the cameraman of the film crew suffered a shrapnel wound in his legs, the producer of the group and Naber received “light injuries” – they could not hear well for several days and were treated for bruises.
Ibrahim Naber also reported on the drone attack on the social network Kh.
Earlier, the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine reported that as of September 9, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, Russian forces have killed at least 130 media workers.
