Three children died of poisoning in Odesa

Three children, aged 3, 5 and 7, died in Odesa district from poisoning with an unknown substance. This was reported to the State Police of Odesa region. It has been preliminarily established that two girls aged 3 and 5 and their 7-year-old brother took an unknown substance at home, which allegedly made them sick. At that time, the mother of the children was engaged in household chores.

“A 30-year-old woman found her children in a serious condition and called an ambulance.” Doctors, having diagnosed poisoning with an unknown substance, tried to save the children, but, unfortunately, the children died,” the police reported.

According to the indicated fact, the investigators entered information into the EDPR according to p. 2 hours 2 Art. 115 with the note “accident”, Art. 166 (malicious non-performance of duties to care for a child or a person for whom guardianship or guardianship has been established), ch. 1 Art. 321 (illegal production or storage of poisonous substances or potent medicinal products) of the Criminal Code.

Law enforcement officers are inspecting the scene and establishing the circumstances of the children’s death.

Earlier we reported that a tragic event occurred in the Ternopil region: 8 children and their mother’s roommate were hospitalized due to mushroom poisoning. A 3-year-old girl and a 59-year-old man died, and six more children are in serious condition.

Three children were poisoned by carbon monoxide in Zakarpattia Oblast. They were admitted to a local hospital.
