On the territory of the “Sofia Kyivska” National Reserve, a free interactive performance organized by the Elena Zelenska Foundation has started.
From December 20 to 29, children and adults will come to life with a fairy tale that combines the spirit of history and the warmth of Christmas.
The immersive performance will transport the audience to the times of Kyivan Rus. Sofia Kyivska will tell stories from graffiti left by our ancestors with the help of 3D technologies.
The entire journey through the times of Kyivan Rus is accompanied by live performances by actors, choir singing, light and sound special effects. For the maximum immersion in the atmosphere of that time, headphones with sound accompaniment are provided for the audience.
“This is an incredibly warm family show. It really makes it possible to feel the magic of Christmas and at the same time the union with our ancestors. Also, this trip immerses you in interesting historical facts. I hope that the event created by our Foundation will give children not only joy, but also admiration for history and culture,” said Olena Zelenska.
During 10 days, more than 3,600 children and adults will be able to see the play.
The Elena Zelenska Foundation organized a special visit for foster and large foster families from the Kyiv region, as well as for children cared for by public organizations.
“This year, we decided to give our children joyful emotions with the help of a bright Christmas show. This is how the idea was born to create a holiday interactive performance that would interest children and adults. “Those Who Listened to Eternity Speak” is a play about good and evil, courage and love. We thank the creative team and our partners who supported this idea and helped bring it to life,” said the director of the Foundation, Nina Gorbachova.
