It is able to perform both classic reconnaissance missions with a camera and act as a FPV carrier, including anti-aircraft.
According to Defense Express, the use of the drone-“uterus” allows you to raise drones to a height of 2 km and to disperse up to 150 km/h, while maintaining a battery charge and providing greater combat efficiency. This approach is especially important for anti-aircraft FPV-oules, which should remain light and fast.
Thor is available in two versions: electric and internal combustion engine. The electrical version is quieter and more invisible, but inferior to speed and range (up to 150 km, speed 72 km/h, runoff 26 kg). The ICE model provides greater range and load (up to 400 km, speed 150 km/h, runoff 28 kg).
The drone is equipped with a module with a day or thermal imaging chamber, which is unusually located on the left wing. The launch is made from collapsible catapult, and the control occurs through a laptop. Thor can also serve the function of the FPV-ouzh, expanding their operational capabilities on the battlefield.
