Former World Champion met in the guidance of the main card in revenge Haima Munggia (44–2, 35 KO) of Mexico and Frenchman Bruno Surach (26–0–2, 5 KO). Last December, the Mexican conceded to a knockout.
Mungia from the first seconds took the center of the ring, constantly pursued the opponent and made many blows. Surache decided to work with the second number, moved well on his feet, periodically exploded in counterattacks.
The Mexican easily cut corners, relied on accentuated blows. His rival hid behind the block, successfully defended himself, but was too passive in the attack.
In the seventh round, Bruno received his opponent with accentuated blows from long distance. The Frenchman tried to respond to every munge attack, moving a lot on his feet, but in the last seconds he missed a dangerous attack.
Gradually, Himime began to increase his advantage – attacked more often and more precisely, successfully pressed the opponent and tasted it to the ropes. Due to fatigue, he was seriously slowing down and thinking more and more about protection.
The judges recorded a unanimous victory for Munggia, who was able to overcome Surache in revenge.
