The fight in the royal division will take place on the night of December 20 in Miami. Joshua, as expected, turned out to be much more difficult than his opponent:
- Jake Paul – 98.3 kg
- Anthony Joshua – 110.4 kg
For Anthony, this is the lowest weight in the last four years – since September 2021, when he had his first fight with Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.
It will be recalled that according to the contract for the fight with Jake, the British boxer has no right to gain more than 245 pounds (111.1 kg), so the ex-champion had no opportunity to come out with the optimal weight.
The future fight will be held in the format of eight rounds. Anthony will return to the ring after a loss to compatriot Daniel DuBois, which he suffered last September.
