At first, they wanted to capture Kupyansk by the beginning of November, then spread statements about the encirclement of units of the Defense Forces in the Kupyan region.

Oles Malyarevich, the deputy commander of the shock battalion of the BPAK “Achilles” of the 92nd separate assault brigade named after the basket chieftain Ivan Sirka, told about the real situation in the Kupian region on the air of the “Espresso” TV channel.

— In the Kupian direction, the situation is changing very dynamically, it is tense. Attacks and assaults by the occupiers are constantly taking place. From our side, separate operations are taking place to restore the state and regulations, he said.

The military commented on the situation, drawing attention to the map.

– You see on the map, how they rested on the left bank of the Oskil River and they had long planned to capture it completely. At the moment, the fighting is going on, if you look at this ridge, north of Kolisnikivka – the enemy is trying to go there and capture it, – the officer explained.

However, the enemy does not succeed.

– On the left bank on our side there are sufficiently powerful forces and they are doing everything to ensure that they do not spread either down or up there. The task of holding the left bank, the task of preventing the capture of Kupyansk and Kupyansk-Vuzlovoi. The city is alive and holding on, – emphasized the deputy commander of the drones.

Oles Malyarevich commented on the statements of Russian propagandists about the encirclement of units of the Defense Forces in the Kupyansk direction.

— We were in danger of losing the possibility of evacuating our settlement. [Однак]all issues related to this have been resolved. I will not say how, but we have worked out several protocols in case the situation develops in any direction. So we hold on to each of our soldiers, protect our lives and health, and do everything to ensure that we do our work there and that our personnel are alive. That is, there is no encirclement of our troops, – stated Malyarevich.

The occupiers did not cope with the task of capturing Kupyansk by the beginning of November, and now they have moved the date of the occupation of the right-bank Kupyansk to the New Year.

“From the interceptions that we have, and we are constantly conducting reconnaissance, they set themselves the task of capturing even the right-bank Kupyansk by the New Year,” said the soldier.

At the same time, in his opinion, the tactics of the enemy will remain unchanged.

— If we talk about the Kupyan direction, then from our side it is the Oskil River, from their side it is quite large open spaces along which they move. The tactics will not change, it will be live assaults, it will be sometimes armored breakthroughs, as they did a couple of times, and everything was destroyed from their side, – predicted the officer.

Oles Malyarevich assumed that the occupiers’ tactics would remain unchanged:

– They have no options, except to storm with infantry. But they are actively working with aviation, they are destroying literally the entire Left Bank – not a single house, not a single building, like theirs in Avdiivka, the whole of Vovchansk.

And it has already moved to the Right Bank completely from the destroyed Kupyansk, Sinkovo ​​- these are the settlements on the right bank immediately behind the river.

So artillery fire, air fire — and “meat” assaults, as they are called, without counting the losses. These are the conditions in which we work now.
