Almost half of the fighting is recorded in the Pokrovsky and adjacent Novopavlovsky directions in Donetsk region.

At the end of September, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the Dobropil counter -offensive operation was ongoing, and as a result, the Ukrainian military managed to release more than 174 square kilometers of the territory.

According to the observations of British intelligence, Pokrovsk as a logistics center in Donetsk remains the main point of Russian offensive operations. It restrains Russia’s promotion further in the Donetsk region and in the direction of Kramatorsk and Slavyansk.
