Artem Ishchenko, IA “Nova Doba”: “This school became a breath of fresh air for me. After a boring and not very effective study at the university, attending a school of journalism is like being born again.”
Olesya Yankiv, Kramatorsk Post: “All the topics we discussed – from writing news and working with longreads, to creating podcasts and OSINT analytics – turned out to be not just interesting, but such that they left behind an uncontrollable inner desire to dig deeper.
Despite the thorough knowledge, the most valuable thing that the school gave me is the feeling of a close-knit community of people who share common values and are aware of their responsibility to readers.”
Yehor Kuzmin, TyKyiv: “This school is a great mixture of different areas of journalism and practice. I am completely delighted and grateful to all the lecturers for the experience they shared.”
Khrystyna Sibulatova, Ukrinform: “The UP school exceeded my expectations, all the information I received was not only theoretical, but also practical, which allowed me to improve my knowledge and look at something in a new way. Working with different people in teams each time improved the school’s communication skills.”
Ilya Volynskyi, Oboronka: “This is an opportunity to get to know journalists from different regions, learn about their hobbies, problems, and achievements. Sometimes it’s a cold shower of reality, where publications make ends meet, sometimes it’s examples of how people put principles first, not money.
So if you have doubts whether to go to UP school or not, don’t doubt it.”
