Her grandmother Helya, whose voice was inherited by the artist herself, passed away.According to the performer, the grandmother always felt young. At the age of 83, the woman felt like she was 25. She was always cheerful and friendly.
“My grandmother has passed away. The same as Gela. But her voice will echo forever in me, and I will carry it around the world,” shared Gela Zozulya.

“Our funeral traditions are very painful. I don’t know when I will move away from all this. I held on to the whole process as best I could, but when I got home, I was covered. Grandma was strong, so I will try too. This pain must be experienced, let go, and then only a bright memory will remain,” the singer added.
