Oleksandr Kosenko, the coach of the Ukrainian futsal team, is not ready to say that the current team is the strongest in the history of the country, but he emphasized the progress of recent years. 
At the last Euro, Ukraine came fourth, and at the current World Championship, it reached the semifinals.
“We have always had a strong futsal team throughout our history. Sometimes things didn’t work out, but now it happened that we were in the semi-finals of the Euro, now in the semi-finals of the World Cup.”
“I don’t want to praise the boys now. I will not say whether this is the top national team for the entire period of independence or not. We feel supported, we feel that they are rooting for us. It’s nice,” Kosenko said.
Ukraine will play a semi-final match with Brazil on October 2.
