This was announced by the head of the Center for Combating Disinformation, officer of the Defense Forces Andriy Kovalenko.
He noted that the Russians did not even cross the destroyed bridge from the border, so the information was a lie from the beginning.
He also reminded that in June a very similar story happened with Ryzhivka in Sumy Oblast.
“Someone appeared somewhere, took down the flag and ran away. There is no threat of an invasion of Chernihiv Oblast. There is an extremely limited threat of the DRG,” said Andriy Kovalenko.
He emphasized that the story about Gremyach is false and is exclusively an information operation of the enemy. “At the same time, after such an informative story with Ryzhivka, the enemy lost Suzha in Kurshchyna,” Andriy Kovalenko recalled.
On November 15, Russian propagandists spread information about the alleged “entry” to the village of Gremyach. The DPSU denied this and noted that the enemy DRG planted a flag near the border on the destroyed bridge over the Sudost River.
