There is no heat supply in Shostka in Sumy Oblast due to the Russian attack, the regional military administration reported on the evening of November 12.

“On November 12, the enemy carried out an airstrike on the critical infrastructure facilities of the Shostky community, using the Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicle,” the report says.

The OVA noted that emergency and rescue services are working “to restore the heat supply as soon as possible.”

Earlier, the administration reported that during the day, Russian forces carried out 67 shelling of the border territories and settlements of the Sumy region, 124 explosions were recorded. “Hotinska, Yunakivska, Bilopolska, Krasnopilska, Velikopysarivska, Shalyginska, Esmanska, Khutir-Mykhailivska, Seredino-Budska, Shostkinska communities came under fire,” the message says.

According to OVA, there were four explosions in Shostkinsk community, where drones attacked a critical infrastructure facility.

Data on the victims are not provided.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
