“There are good results” in the border of Sumy region – Zelensky after the report of Syrsky

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that there are good results in the border of Sumy region. He said this in the evening address on September 14 after the report of the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces Alexander Sirsky.

“There are good results in Sumy border. Our units continue to move towards the state border of Ukraine. I thank the soldiers of the 225th separate assault regiment and the 71st Eger Brigade, ”Zelensky said.

According to him, there are also significant losses in the Russian forces – both in Kharkiv region – in Kupyansk and in Donetsk region.

“We continue to act in the Dobropil direction. It is important that Russian assaults are reflected by guys … We act according to the situation and in Zaporozhye, ”the President said without details.

The other day, Zelensky stated that the Ukrainian military stopped the promotion of Russian forces towards Sumy, which continued the fighting in the border of Sumy region, and the Russian group in the Sumy direction lost its offensive opportunities as a result of losses.

The Russian forces entered the territory of Sumy region in March-April 2025-after the Ukrainian military left the city of Sudzha in Kurshchyna and most of the territory of Kursk region, captured during the offensive in August 2024. Now the front line in the area has stabilized.
