Ukraine is actively cooperating with the IAEA to expand the monitoring mission to key substations following the recent targeted Russian attacks. Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Kolisnyk said this on the air of the telethon, he reports UNN.

“Russia’s damage to nuclear facilities creates a great risk of a nuclear incident and it will have global consequences,” Kolisnyk said.

According to him, the Russian attack on August 26 shows that the enemy is targeting substations.

He emphasized that Ukraine actively cooperates with the IAEA mission in order for international inspectors to expand the monitoring mission to the facilities of key substations.
