The Russian company Torgovy dym Donskoe ugboli plans to start exporting coal from the occupied Donbas through the port of Mariupol already in October.
On Monday, September 30, one of the heads of the occupying Russian administration in the Donetsk region, Andriy Chertkov, told the Russian RBC about this.
The general director of the enterprise, Oleg Knyazev, confirmed to RBC that “negotiations are underway for the supply of coal from Donbas with potential buyers from China, India, Iran, Uzbekistan and Malaysia.”
According to the source of the Russian edition of RBC, familiar with the Don coal plans, exports can be carried out through the ports of temporarily occupied Mariupol, Taganrog and Rostov-on-Don, as well as by railways through Azerbaijan and Iran.
