The world should sound so that Putin is really afraid of expanding the war and feels the real consequences of his actions – the President’s address

When someone starts using other countries not only for terror, but also for testing their new missiles through terror, then this is definitely an international crime.”, — write: www.president.gov.ua

I wish you good health, dear Ukrainian men and women!

The first list of persons deprived of Ukrainian state awards and special titles was published today. All of them chose to support the criminal war against Ukraine and simply lost their dignity. I don’t even want to mention their names. And they will never be here in Ukraine, so we will remove all their connections with Ukraine.

The Security Service of Ukraine is also preparing new proposals for such sanctions.

Second. Today, more details have been established regarding the new missile with which Russia hit the Dnieper. And we will give all the details to journalists – international media. The world must know the truth and realize that the only one who does not want peace is Russia.

That is why Russia needs escalations.

I am grateful to all partners who have already reacted to this next bout of Russian madness. But, in addition to words, you need to act.

And, in particular, on my assignment, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine is already holding meetings with our partners regarding new air defense systems – precisely those systems that are capable of protecting lives from new risks.

When someone starts using other countries not only for terror, but also for testing their new missiles through terror, then this is definitely an international crime. And from Russia, this is bullying from the position of countries such as China, the countries of the Global South, some leaders, who call for restraint every time, and in return receive from Moscow some kind of new escalation.

Therefore, the world must sound serious in response – so that Putin is really afraid of expanding the war and feels the real consequences of his actions.

True peace is achieved through strength – no other way.

The third. Regarding our response here in Ukraine to these Russian strikes, to various information about threats.

Today is already the 1003rd day of this war. All security protocols are now the same as before. If an air raid signal sounds, you need to react, protect yourself and go to shelter.

Whatever the Russian missile threat, it cannot be ignored.

But when there is no air alert, the state, industries, embassies – everyone should work the same. And to perceive information, in particular, from intelligence precisely as information, and not as permission for a day off. This applies to everyone – from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and other structures and branches of government to administrative bodies in regions and communities.

The siren sounds – we go to shelter. And when there is no siren – we work and serve.

There is no other way in war. We must be aware that “comrade” Putin will continue to intimidate us.

He built all his power on this.

It is important to be able to react correctly and to do everything so that this war returns home, to Russia, and that they feel what war is.

And one more thing. I want to thank our combat brigades who have shown themselves effectively this week. 38th Separate Marine Corps Brigade, 39th Separate Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment, 68th Separate Yeger Brigade, 102nd, 108th, 124th, 126th Separate Brigades of the Defense Forces, 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade and the 425th separate assault battalion. Thank you, warriors!

And a separate one – to all units in the regions of the Kursk operation, to all those who are really resistant.

Glory to Ukraine!
