The World Boxing Council (WBC) named the best boxer in 2024.

The award was given to a Ukrainian Oleksandr Usykwho became the absolute heavyweight champion of the world for the first time in 24 years, defeating Britain’s Tyson Fury in May. In December 2024, a rematch took place, where the Ukrainian was again stronger than the “Gypsy King”.

It should be noted that in May, Usyk took the WBC (heavyweight) belt from Fury and returned it to Ukraine, this title was previously held by Vitaliy Klitschko.

The best boxing fight in 2024 was previously determined.
