At the same time, it is worth noting that penguins do not live in Greenland and in general in the arctic zone, but only in the southern hemisphere, in particular in Antarctica and the Antarctic.
In addition, the image shows that Trump and his companion leave identical footprints on the snow, which, however, do not look like human footprints.
Trump has often emphasized that Greenland is of strategic importance to the United States. According to him, the island is critical to America’s national security because of its location in the Arctic region.
It will be recalled that on Wednesday, January 21, at a speech in Davos, Trump promised not to use military force to seize Greenland, but reiterated his desire to control the island.
He later said he had laid the groundwork for a future deal on Greenland in which he does not plan to impose tariffs against European countries.
In turn, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen outlined the red lines of such an agreement with the US: the status of a sovereign state is not discussed.
