“Briton Fabio Wordley was officially promoted to full title holder”, — write: sport.ua
Representative of Ukraine Oleksandr Usyk (24–0, 15 KOs) officially gave up the championship belt, so he was excluded from the WBO rankings. According to the regulations of the organization, a boxer does not have the right to be in the rating if he holds the titles of other versions (WBC, WBA, IBF).
Holder of the temporary title Fabio Wordley (20–0–1, 19 KOs) was promoted to full champion. The Briton last entered the ring on October 20 – he knocked out New Zealander Joseph Parker as an underdog.
Undefeated British Moses Itauma (13–0, 11 KOs), who destroyed his compatriot Dillian Whyte in August and won the WBO Inter-Continental belt, continues to occupy the first place.
Filip Hrgovic (19-1, 14 KOs) from Croatia, who defeated Britain’s David Adeleye by unanimous decision in August, is in second place – he holds the WBO International title. Zhang Zhilei (27–3–1, 22 KOs) from China rounded out the top three.
Super heavyweight from Ukraine Vladyslav Sirenko (22–1, 19 KOs) is in 14th position. The boxer continues to recover from the surgery he underwent after his July loss to Britain’s Solomon Dacres.
