The Verkhovna Rada thanked Trump and the American people

The text emphasizes that US assistance has played a crucial role in stabilizing the situation at the front and strengthening Ukraine’s security in the most difficult period of its history.

“On behalf of the Ukrainian people, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine expresses its gratitude to the President of Donald Trump, the US Congress and the American people for the firm and consistent support of the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as for security for security assistance that contributed to the stabilization of the situation on the front.

Parliament noted that US leadership in the international arena is inextricably linked to the protection of freedom and democracy, compliance with international agreements and reliability in relations with allies.

In the text of the address, the Verkhovna Rada congratulated Donald Trump’s initiatives to start the negotiation process to establish peace. It also emphasizes the importance of developing a strategic partnership between Ukraine and the US, in particular in the field of production of critical minerals.

“We believe that President Donald Trump’s personal role and his peacekeeping efforts will be crucial for the early cessation of hostilities and peace in Ukraine, Europe and the world, ”the statement said.

In conclusion, the Parliament confirmed that Ukraine would remain an independent state and the Ukrainian people – unconquered.
