The Verkhovna Rada passed a draft law granting the right to a deferment from mobilization to civilians who were captured by Russia, as well as the right to release from service to those soldiers whose non-native relatives died or went missing in the war.

People’s deputies Oleksiy Honcharenko and Iryna Gerashchenko informed about this.

The draft law amends Article 26 of the Law “On Military Duty and Military Service”, granting servicemen the right to be released from service after the death or disappearance of their half-brother or sister.

In addition, the deputies voted for a postponement of mobilization for those civilians who were captured.

We will remind that in the application “Rezerv+” in two days after the appearance of the online deferment service, about 40 thousand conscripts used it.

We previously wrote that the online recruiting function may soon appear in the “Reserve+” application. The Ministry of Defense plans to launch it in the fall of 2024.

We will also remind you that the Ministry of Defense discovered three fake Rezerv+ web applications that were in the development stage. The attackers did not have time to start sending.
