The Verkhovna Rada approved changes to the State Budget of Ukraine. 229 MPs voted in favor of the decision, the head of the budget committee of Roksolana Podlas said.
Additional expenditures are balanced by reducing non -military expenditures by UAH 36.7 billion, of which UAH 33.6 billion is the servicing of public debt, as well as the redirection of part of the income tax from the budget of Kyiv to the general fund for UAH 8 billion.
Among the priorities – replenishment of the state budget reserve fund for UAH 25.5 billion, including UAH 8 billion to support Ukrzaliznytsia.
Additionally:

UAH 4.3 billion – for the Ministry of Defense, including UAH 1.4 billion for the purchase of special equipment, drones and equipment for combat tests, UAH 2.8 billion – grants for Defense Tech development;

4.6 billion UAH-for food students in elementary classes in all areas and 5-11 classes in the frontlines;

UAH 3.2 billion – for the purchase of medicines for the treatment of cancer patients, patients with hepatitis, rare diseases, hemophilia;

1.5 billion UAH – for the development of a network of military lyceums;

UAH 1.2 billion in support of war veterans.
Separately, UAH 1 billion is provided for the construction of new housing and the reconstruction of premises for internally displaced persons (IDPs). Oms can also use free account balances to purchase or provide housing loans for IDPs.
We will remind, the BP will vote for the withdrawal of UAH 8 billion from the budget of Kiev this week.
The Verkhovna Rada also registered a bill to strengthen responsibility for discrimination.
