It is noted that the intervention was carried out by a number of people’s deputies during the court session on the consideration of the SAP prosecutor’s request to seize the property of the politician and her husband, which began on January 19, 2026 in the premises of the State Security Service.
At the beginning of the hearing, the participants discussed the question of conducting a closed court session, which was requested by the prosecutor of the SAPS in the petition for seizure of property, which was also supported by the NABU detective acting on behalf of the prosecutor.
During the discussion, a person present in the hall started shouting insulting words and direct threats at the investigating judge. At the request of the judge, the person presented himself as a people’s deputy. He was warned about the inadmissibility of such behavior and the possibility of being brought to administrative responsibility for showing disrespect. However, this did not stop his actions.
After passing the decision to conduct a closed court session, the investigating judge announced the need to leave the courtroom to all those present, except for the participants in the court proceedings. A number of people who did not hide their status as a people’s deputy began verbally threatening the judge and the NABU detective and refused to leave the courtroom.
The judge issued an order to transfer the hearing to another free room, where only the participants of the proceedings (the defense and the NABU detective) were to be present. However, a number of persons continued to commit unlawful acts, pushing away the court security officers, continuing to shout insults and threats. They also went to another hall, where the meeting on the consideration of the motion to seize the property of the people’s deputy and her husband was supposed to continue, which made it impossible for it to be properly held.
Therefore, the meeting was adjourned until the next day – January 20, 2026.

Their actions had the obvious intention of putting pressure on the investigating judge.
In view of this, the judge asks to take measures determined by the legislation of Ukraine to respond to interference in the activities of the judge in the administration of justice.”
