Euronews writes about it. “We have received confirmation that in the coming days the USA will introduce sanctions against the NIS due to Russian ownership,” Vucic said in an interview with Informer TV. According to the president, Great Britain and the European Union are expected to follow Washington and introduce their own sanctions.Advertisement: The US Treasury Department has yet to comment on the sanctions package. Vucic noted that Belgrade has not yet received an “official document with details” from the American side. Gazprom and its subsidiary Gazprom Neft own 6.15% and 50% of NIS shares, respectively. The remaining shares belong to the Government of Serbia and other smaller shareholders.
