The current US administration plans to transfer very significant amounts of military aid to Ukraine in the last weeks of its mandate. Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiga stated this on the air of the telethon, reports UNN.

“We discussed (with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken – ed.) the implementation of all agreements at the level of leaders… We have concrete decisions, we have concrete confirmations regarding military aid. The current US administration plans to transfer very significant amounts of military aid to Ukraine in the last weeks of its mandate.” – said Sybiga.

According to him, the aid will include, in particular, weapons and payment of contracts for the production of new weapons.

“Such assurances were received during the meeting of our delegations, during my meeting with Blinken,” Sibiga said.

He noted that he and Blinken also discussed the issue of long-range strikes on military facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation and Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic integration.

“We are cautiously optimistic here too,” the minister added.
