Titled boxer Taras Shelestyuk (20–0–1, 12 KOs) entered the ring against the journeyman from Venezuela Anthony Saez (5–6–1, 4 KOs) and won a convincing victory by unanimous decision of the judges.
Taras confidently controlled the course of the fight, moved perfectly on his feet and did not allow his opponent to do anything in the ring. Saez was knocked down in the eighth round, but managed to continue the fight.
The judges recorded the victory of the Ukrainian by unanimous decision, which became the 21st for Taras in the professional ring. The Ukrainian confirmed his status as an undefeated boxer.
Shelestiuk is a bronze medalist of the Olympic Games (2012), world champion (2011), bronze medalist of the European Championship (2010) and winner of the European Cup (2010).
