The Ukrainian delegation will arrive in the USA, maybe this week / photo UNIAN, Lazarenko NikolaiThe Ukrainian delegation will visit the United States in the near future to negotiate on a mineral agreement. This was stated by US Finance Minister Scott Bessent in an interview with Bloomberg.
According to him, the visit will take place “either at the end of this or early next week” to discuss the Economic Cooperation Agreement between the two countries.
At the same time, he said that the Ukrainians “hired a lawyer” and that on the American side the agreement was “ready”.
“We believe that this agreement is very important for the American people, for the Ukrainian people and for the peace process,” he said.
Subsoil Agreement with the US is the latest newsAs reported by UNIAN, on March 28, a new version of the mineral resource agreement was received from the US Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga assured that Ukraine is set to sign this document, which should be in line with national interests, both the US and Ukraine.
According to Reuters, US President Donald Trump has recently stated that Zelensky was trying to leave the mineral agreement. At the same time, as Trump threatened, if it happens, Zelensky will have big problems.
