The musician noted that he remembered working with the singer-Putinist Valeria and her husband Yosyp Prigozhin most of all.
“I remember Prigozhin very well. He behaved as rudely as possible, in a bandit-like manner. It was really unpleasant for me at the time… Everything that was connected with Russia, even in those years, was like a solid “bottom” for me. I always had more Ukraine and even Europe than Russia,” Yevhen said in an interview with Slava Demin.
Khmara also mentioned working with Valery Meladze, Nyusha and Diana Arbenina. But he emphasized that after February 24, 2022, he will not be in contact with them.
“After February 24, there were no calls or messages from Meladze either – not once,” the composer emphasized.
But the Georgian singer Nino Katamadze wrote words of support for Yevgeny. The artist spoke about her message as follows:
“Nino Katamadze wrote to me almost on the first day of the war. But she is not a Russian artist – and these are fundamentally different things.”
