Russian troops fired artillery at the Znob-Novgorod community of the Shostky district of the Sumy region, killing a 73-year-old man who was fishing on the lake.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Prosecutor General’s Office announced this on Facebook.

“On November 17, around 1:00 p.m., invaders from the territory of the Russian Federation fired artillery at the civil infrastructure of the Znob-Novgorod community of Shostkinsky district. As a result of the enemy attack, a 73-year-old man who was fishing on the lake died,” the message reads.

A medical facility and 7 private houses were also damaged.

As reported by Ukrinform, during the night and morning the Russians carried out 7 shellings of the border territories and settlements of the Sumy region.
