The Ministry of Defense stated that it categorically condemns any actions contrary to the law and the principles of service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that in relation to the incident in Vyshgorod, which was recorded on video and spread on social networks, the Ministry of Defense in cooperation with law enforcement agencies is conducting an investigation and identifying the persons involved in this situation.
Verbatim MOU: “All those involved in this incident will be prosecuted in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.
Such actions are unacceptable and undermine confidence in the Armed Forces and the security sector.
We thank the citizens for their attention and cooperation.”
Updated: The National Police also reacted to the published video.
In a statement published on December 19, it is said that the police of the Kyiv region have started an official investigation into the fact of the incident in Vyshgorod.
It is reported that during the investigation, both police officers who participated in the incident have been suspended from their duties.
