At the training ground near Kyiv, NV saw who and how trains novice fighters of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK) to fight with their compatriots and the Kremlin regime.
On one of the last summer days at the shooting range near Kyiv, there was a loud sound of shots from several machine guns, through which military commands in purely Russian broke through from time to time. And it was not a coincidence or an accident.
“Aim, fire!” — the instructors commanded their subordinates, recruits of the Russian Voluntary Corps (RDC). This military structure unites the citizens of the Russian Federation, who decided to fight against Putin’s regime on the side of the Armed Forces.
After several approaches to the firing lines, about a dozen fighters lined up in front of the instructor – a 21-year-old boy with the call sign Kruger. He confidently told the cadets what to do, based on today’s task — working in pairs in the so-called carousel, when one fighter covers the other.
Within a minute, the young men in full uniform began training – advancing two by one towards the targets, on which the images of the dictator Putin and the Russian propagandist Olga Skabeeva printed on white paper were affixed.
Loud shots began to cut through the air again, and bullets pierced the eyes, noses, foreheads and ears of these two symbols of today’s mad Russia.
In a pause after the intense training, NV turned to one of the cadets – a young guy who, tiredly, was standing on a platform specially equipped for the maintenance of weapons: “Why are you here?”
Molodik thought for a few seconds, and then grunted in such a way that even with the balaclava on his face you could tell that he was smiling from the bottom of his heart.
“We are here so that the Kremlin can say that there are fascists in Ukraine,” the guy jokes.
These “fascists” have existed for two years already – since August 2022. Then several dozen Russians who called themselves “armed opposition to Putin”, united in Ukraine under the name RDK and under the command of Denys Nikitin (Kapustina), which had the call sign White Rex.
A native of Moscow, White Rex was a well-known far-right activist in his homeland, but moved to Ukraine in 2017. Here he founded the RDK, which united people close to Nikitin in terms of political views.
One of the first fighters of the unit was Volodymyr, now the deputy commander of the RDK for ideology, whom NV also met at the training ground near Kyiv.
