The entrepreneur Tetiana Glinyana, who is suspected in the case of the scheme of purchasing food for the Armed Forces at inflated prices, continues to live in Croatia.
This is stated in material journalist Tetyana Nikolayenko “From eggs to 17 to Fire point: why only loud resignations do not solve the problem of corruption”, Censor.NET reports.
“As of now, no punishment has come for Glynyana. Despite the fact that almost simultaneously with Yuri Nikolov’s publications, the SBI and NABU opened factual proceedings, only in the spring of 2025 the National Anti-Corruption Bureau announced suspicions against those involved in the case. Moreover, Glynyana herself received it in absentia, and continues to live peacefully in Croatia, already reaching local residents who periodically complain to Ukraine that she illegally conducts construction. Her son-in-law, as far as the author knows, also happily avoided seizure of funds in the BEB case,” the article says.
It is noted that the catalog food system itself continues to exist and has never been reformed.
Nevertheless, as Nikolayenko notes, the “17 eggs” scandal led to certain changes.
“Thanks to the union of deputies, civil society and the Ministry of Economy, non-lethal purchases were returned to the Prozorro system, as a result of which almost 8 billion were saved in a year. An upper limit was set for prices in the catalog so that eggs no longer cost 17, and a limit was also set on reducing prices so that companies did not win tenders with abnormally low prices. For example, with the price of raspberries at 1 kopeck, because no one is going to be supplied to military units,” the article says.
