The head of the Sumy Oblast, Oleg Grigorov, said that the evacuation of civilians from the border communities of the Sumy region continues after reports that Russian troops had taken local residents from the border village.

Grigorov’s direct speech: “Today, part of the residents who previously refused to be evacuated were evacuated from the Krasnopil community in armored vehicles. They are currently in the transit center, where they are receiving the necessary assistance.”

Details: According to him, evacuation is carried out for all residents who submitted applications. “These measures are implemented in cooperation with volunteers and relevant services,” he said.

The head of OVA thanked everyone involved in supporting our people. “The enemy leaves no choice for residents of settlements near the border. The only correct step is to evacuate in order to save lives,” Hrygorov wrote.

At the same time, the head of the OVA did not say anything about the information published by the Kordon.Media publication that on the night of December 20, in the Krasnopil region of the Sumy region, Russian troops entered the border village of Grabovskoe, located directly on the border line.
