The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine officially launched the work of the State Agency for Reserve Reserve Management. The Agency’s activities are coordinated through the first viceremer – Minister of Economy.
As reported in the Cabinet of Ministers, DaUR will be responsible for the implementation of state policy in the sphere of reserves. In particular, for the accumulation, storage, refreshing and issuance of material assets necessary for prompt response to crisis situations, including military and extraordinary events. The agency will also monitor these processes.
The Ministry of Economy emphasizes that DaUR is a completely new structure that is not related to the Soviet heritage and should work transparently and effectively. The agency has already been registered as a legal entity, its provisions, structure and staffing list have been approved. The first 20 civil servants are also appointed – 30% of the total number of planned positions.
