Ukrainian Daria reported the incident on her Threads page. According to the girl, the post quickly gained popularity and collected more than 1.3 million views. She said that together with an Italian man and his wife, a citizen of Ukraine, she traveled by bus from Italy to Ukraine through the checkpoint “Chop (Tysa) – Zahon”. During a stop at the border, a man approached her and started a conversation in Italian. At first, he asked neutral questions, but later, according to Daria, he began to make disparaging statements about Ukraine and its leadership. “He started telling us what a bad country we have, what a bad president we have, and that he respects Putin and thinks he’s a good guy,” wrote the girl, who immediately passed off as a suspicious guy at the border.
