Russia has accumulated enough strength to try to attack Sumy region, said the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko.

“The enemy really has a large number of forces and means of both personnel and equipment within the Kursk region. In particular, the accumulation at one time began from the moment Russia tried and tried to displace the defense forces of Ukraine, which conducted its operation within the Kursk region, ”he said on the air of the national telemorathon.

Demchenko said that Russia continues to keep troops there, but periodically there is a change in the number of servicemen and equipment in this area.

“The enemy there has enough strength to take action and in relation to our border to create an attempt to attack on the territory of Ukraine,” the SSSU spokesman stated.

The other day, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia has harvested 50,000 soldiers near the Sumy region.
