Blogger Menos Trece held a sponsored stream for a new product that has not yet been released.
Five hours of Silent Hill 2 Remake gameplay was shown on TwitchA few days ago, the Spanish millionaire blogger Menos Trece broadcasted Silent Hill 2 Remake on his Twitch channel, the stream lasted more than 5 hours. The streamer himself stated that he received a copy of the game, which has not yet been released, directly from Konami, and that the broadcast itself is sponsored.Based on the gameplay shown, it can be seen that the developers focused more on exploring locations and solving puzzles than on fighting enemies.
In August, journalists shared their impressions of the game, where they noted the well-conveyed spirit of the original Silent Hill through the design of locations and sound design. Most likely, these previews were written for the same segment of the game that Menos Trece showed.
Also recently, Japanese streamer 2BRO showed the intro hour of Silent Hill 2 Remake. It seems that he also got the game from Konami as part of the remake promotion campaign.
Silent Hill 2 Remake will be released on October 8 on PC and Playstation 5. But Xbox users will have to wait: Sony bought a temporary exclusivity for the game and Silent Hill 2 Remake will not appear on Phil Spencer’s console until October 8, 2025.
A little about Silent Hill 2 Remake
- The game is made by the Polish studio Bloober Team, known for the Layers of Fear game series. People who worked on the original were also involved in the development: artist Masahiro Ito and composer Akira Yamaoka, who had already worked with Bloober on The Medium.
- Silent Hill 2 was modernized as much as possible: they removed the view “from the ceiling” of the location, replacing it with the usual camera from the shoulder, and redesigned the combat system.
- The plot and design of the locations remained intact. Journalists also noted that all the puzzles from the original game were carried over in their original form.
