The artist answered whether they still protect Ukraine in the ranks of the military.As you know, in the first days of the full-scale invasion, the members of the collective replenished the ranks of the territorial defense. The stars were also at the front, but recently nothing is known about their service, and they are increasingly appearing on the stage with concerts.
Topolya emphasized that the members of “Antitil” are still mobilized. However, they were transferred from the 130th battalion, in which they served for a long time, to another unit.
“We are not demobilized, but continue to serve. We are simply placed at disposal. I do not want to name which unit we are in. We are seconded from our 130th battalion to another unit,” Taras shared.
Taras Topolya / Instagram screenshotAccording to the singer, he held the position of an ambulance driver at the front. After returning from the war zone, as Topolya admitted, he could not recover from what he saw for a long time and every time he shuddered from loud explosions.
What is known about the service of musiciansAfter joining the capital TrO, the musicians served in the Kyiv region, in particular, in Irpen and Buch. Later, their 130th battalion was redirected to the Kharkiv region. “Antitil” members spent six months at the front. Already in August 2022, by order of the then Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, the artists were sent to serve in Kyiv.
