Russian troops shelled the Dnipro district of Kherson, as a result of which one person was killed and four others were injured, reported the head of the OVA Oleksandr Prokudin.

“A 56-year-old woman received life-threatening injuries. She died on the spot. A 43-year-old man and women, 50, 60, and 55 years old, received blast injuries, contusions, and shrapnel wounds. Three victims were taken to the hospital. Medics provided assistance to one woman on the spot,” said the head of the Kherson region.

Earlier, the city military administration informed that a 50-year-old woman was wounded in her own apartment in the Central district of Kherson.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
