The British World Champion by WBA met in the ring Nick Ball (22–0–1, 13 KO) and Ireland representative Those Jay Dochen (26-6, 20 KO).
The favorite was expected to occupy the center of the ring, pressed the opponent, shot alone. The Irishman answered in counterattack, moving well on his feet. Ball hit for some reason after Gonga, this episode ignored and did not warn the British.
Closer to the middle of the battle, Nick increased the pace of battle, began to throw more accentuated blows – the Dochen defended himself, but did not have time for the opponent’s actions. Ball continued to use prohibited fight techniques, the third in the ring could not stand and fined the champion in the ninth round.
Despite the numerous violations, the champion continued to dominate and break the doken. The Irishman refused to continue the struggle after the end of the tenth round. Ball successfully defended the WBA title.
