According to the investigation, from the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the governor of the Russian Federation supplied Russian troops with weapons, drones, cars, special equipment and special equipment for the so-called “svo” for hundreds of millions of Russian rubles.
The official also provided financing for a one-time “reward” to “recruits” who signed a contract to participate in the war against Ukrainians.
“In addition, by his decree, the governor seconded civil servants to the L/DPR, as well as to the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions to work in the occupation administrations,” the Ukrainian special service added.

On the basis of the collected evidence, SBU investigators notified the suspect in absentia of the suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 110-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (financing of actions committed with the aim of changing the borders of the territory and the state border of Ukraine in violation of the procedure established by the Constitution of Ukraine by a group of persons in a prior conspiracy).
