The Security Service of Ukraine will analyze the content of the YouTube channel “Lana TUT!” Svitlana Shevchuk, a former host of pro-Russian channels banned in Ukraine, who promotes the TikTok of People’s Deputy Yury Boyk.
This is stated in the response of the Department for the Protection of National Statehood of the Security Service of Ukraine to the public initiative “Holka”.
It is noted that Svitlana Shevchuk worked for pro-Russian media from 2018 to 2024.
“We note that Shevchuk S.V. from 2018 to 2024, she worked for the now-banned pro-Russian media, in particular, the TV channels “NewsOne”, “Nash”, “Pershii Nezalennyi”, as well as the YouTube channel “Vyshka”. Taking into account the information contained in your appeal, the units of the Security Service of Ukraine will conduct an analysis of the content posted on the “Lana HERE!” YouTube channel, the official response says.
On December 9, the public initiative “Needle” noticed and wrote about the activity of the newly created TikTok MP Yury Boyk, who was elected to the Verkhovna Rada from the banned pro-Russian party OPZZH. On this TikTok channel, where pro-Russian narratives were heard, Boyko helps spread the YouTube channel “Lana TUT”.
We will remind you that before this, the Verkhovna Rada recalled Yuriy Boyko from the post of a member of the Committee on Human Rights, Deoccupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, National Minorities and International Relations.
This was already the second attempt to vote on the exclusion of the scandalous people’s deputy from the parliamentary committee. Earlier we wrote that the re-voting was announced by the leader of the “Servant of the People” faction, David Arahamia.
The day before, on December 18, it was not possible to expel Boyko from the Committee on Human Rights, because there were not enough votes – only 217 were cast.
